When is the sale?
The stallion service auction will be
held January 13, 2007 at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Warsaw,
IN. Sale starts at 1:00pm.
How do I bid on a stallion?
There are several ways to place your
bid on the stallion of your choice. First, you can attend
the stallion service auction in Warsaw in January and bid
live. Stallion services are sold just as in a standard
auction. Second, you may send a deposit check to any
stallion service committee member and bid over the phone.
This requires a filled out phone bid sheet that can be
downloaded and printed
here. The check and phone bid sheet
needs to be received before the auction and is made out in
the amount of half of the opening bid for the stallion of
your choice. Example: If you want to buy a stallion who’s
stud fee is $1000 the opening bid would be $500. Your
deposit check would be for $250. In the event that you are
not successful, your check would of course be returned to
you. Lastly, you may bid absentee. This also requires a
deposit check as in phone bids, but you authorize us to bid
for you. If you intend to bid absentee, you MUST include a
high end price on the stallion you want to buy. This is a
good option if we can not reach you by phone on sale day for
you to bid over the phone.
Do I have to be a member to buy a
stallion service?
Yes.
Membership forms are available on
this website. Single memberships are $15 and family
memberships are $25.
Do I have to show to buy a
stallion service?
No. Buying a service through our
program does however give you a free entry into the
futurity, so we would encourage you to give it a try!
How do I enroll my stallion?
You need a
contract (printable off this
site) and a stallion enrollment sheet. Please fill them all
out carefully and legibly. If you wish to send a photo for
the catalog, you can email them to Deb Tiede at
dmtiede@hotmail.com for your convenience. We will also
be showing videos of the stallions at the auction, so be
sure to send one if you have it. All stallion entries go

How do I enter my babies?
Entry forms are available online
here.
Free entries must also be entered on time (no fee). Entry
deadline is July 15 of the year the foal will show.

What is the deadline for paying
for my stallion service?
All stallion services are to be paid in
full by April 1 or before the mare is bred, whichever comes
first.
What if my mare doesn’t get in
foal?
Our stallion service contract requires
your opportunity to return to breed the following year only
(see stallion owners’ contracts for specific charges).
