1. All Owners and Exhibitors must be current members of the Indiana Paint Horse Club. If a foal is jointly owned, all owners must be current members. If the ownership of a foal changes, the Futurity Chair-person must be notified and the new owners must join IPHC to be eligible to show in futurity.

2. Only APHA foals are eligible to show. A copy of registration papers or a letter from APHA verifying their registration and owner, must accompany the entry form with first payment (except Weanlings) before the entry will be accepted.

3. Weanlings must have registration papers or a letter from APHA verifying their registration before any payback will be awarded. If this is not received by January 1 following the futurity, the payback will be redistributed.

4. All Point Earning Halter Foals, Yearling Longe Line, & 2-yr. old Western Pleasure futurity entries must enter their respective Open Paint-O-Rama classes to be eligible for the futurity payback. Entry & Payment for these Open Classes can be done day of show.

Indiana Bred, Owned and Shown Futurity (IBOS):

Weanlings only

Foal must be born in Indiana, shown by owner (Indiana resident), or family member (per APHA rules).

Payment schedule and rules follow Indiana Open Futurity.

If desired, payments may be made early with only one full payment.  Receipts and entry conformation available by enclosing a self addressed stamped envelope with entry.  Entries must be made on an entry form.  Please complete the form legibly with all the required information.  Failure to include required information will void your entry.

Foals never entered in the Futurity, may show by paying a $100.00 Sustaining Fee plus all current fees.

If Horse is entered after July 15th. (Last payment due) an added fee of $100.00 will be charged.

All entries are subject to a $10 office fee.

8. The Futurity will be held with Indiana Paint Horse Club Fall Paint-O-Rama.

9. Fifteen percent (15%) of the futurity fees will be used for expenses. The remaining eighty-five percent (85% ) will be paid back as follows based on the number of foals shown.

10. Produce of Dam & Get of Sire: entry fee $20.00. This entry can be made Saturday, day of show, before any futurity classes enter the ring. All entries in these classes must already be in the futurity and paid in full.

11. In case of Tie, one judge will be designated the tiebreaker for final placing before each class and will be announced at the end of the class. Any moneys for tied placings will be added together and divided equally.

12. Each individual judge's placings as well as the final standings will be

announced. APHA rules will be followed.

13. HONOR ROLL SIRE AWARD & HONOR ROLL DAM AWARD: This annual award is given to the Owners of the Stallion & Mare whose foals earn the highest number of points Over-All (Halter & Performance) in Indiana Paint Horse Club Futurity.

All stallions & mares are eligible as long as the Owner(s) is a current IPHC member(s) before show time Saturday. This award will be presented at the IPHC Awards Banquet. The winning stallions will have the exclusive right to the title of "INDIANA HONOR ROLL SIRE" for one year.

14. All payback for futurity classes will be mailed to winners within 30 days after the futurity is held if all rules are met and a copy of foals papers turned into futurity committee.

New Sweepstakes Classes Offered:

Fees:  $100 one time fee to enter, due by 9:00pm Friday, August 19.  $15 Office fee. 

100% payback to follow Open Futurity pay schedule. Pre-entries may be mailed to Nancy Lentsch directly.  Breeding Stocks are eligible.  It is not required to enter the corresponding Open Class.  Winners paid the day of the show.

Classes offered:  2 Yr old Western Pleasure, 2-3 Yr old Hunter Under Saddle, 3 Yr old Western Pleasure, 2-3 Yr old Non-Pro Western Pleasure, yearling longe line, and non pro longe line.
